This is probably not the first time this happens, when a photo becomes very dark.

This tutorial is for making the images easier to see.

 

1. Choose an image that you want to work with and make a copy of this one so you dont destroy your photo.

Then go ADJUST - BRIGHTNESS CONTRAST and try your way forward for best settings, its completly depending on your image. For mine I needed to go Brightness 100 and Contrast 68 to get this far

Look already starting to see something, make to save the image as jpeg later if you want to keep its clearity.

 

2. However I find the image very dull of colors and that is the hard thing to capture the images again and take away as much as noise from the image as possible

ADJUST - PHOTOFIX - DIGITAL CAMERA NOISE REMOVAL

Theese where my settings for my image, however you may have different noise to remove so try your way forward here

Now the image is a bit more clear than before and the most noise is gone,

Now go ADJUST - BRIGHTNESS AND CONTRAST - CLARIFY

On strengt of effect here I choosed 3 and the pressed the OK button.

Now go - ADJUST - BRIGHTNESS AND CONTRAST - GAMMA CORRECTION - WRITE 1,3 - OK

 

6.

Last one now go ADJUST - BRIGHTNESS AND CONTRAST HIGHLIGHT/MIDTONE/SHADOW and find the settings that suits for your image

Theese where my settings and I promise you that you will probably test your way a LOT forward at this place, I sure did =D
